JAMS: TURNED ON!
Tonight I went down to a new open mic night at The White Horse with my mate Toby. It was nice chilled out affair. I played a couple of new songs and a cover of Whiskeytowns ‘Dancing With The Women At The Bar’. Which went down well. A few cheeky ciders too. All round a good night out for a Tuesday! :)

There are 2 record shops left in Barnstaple. I work at Solo Music which is the last proper shop that stocks new releases etc. But Matt The Hat runs a second hand vinyl shop which is a real treasure chest of a shop. He always has something interesting in and he himself is quite the eccentric character. Here he is socking to google street cam outside his shop. A true local legend.

So on saturday I had my first gig of the new year. I played with my good friends Mr Daniel Adam and The Simon Darling Band. It was a great night of diverse acoustic music and I had a real blast getting up on stage for the first time in 2012. I even dropped a couple of new songs into my set which went down well. Good Times!

Mr Pickle & The Junkshop Quartet - Dreamin’
This is an awesome video by my friend Mike Stocks AKA Mr Pickle. He built the theatre and made the animatronic puppets. A couple of my good buddies were the puppeteers too. Great stuff. If you are reading this then WATCH THIS VIDEO. Its brilliant.
